At Kay and Monty Vineyards the intention is to keep the production small in order to deliver unique, hand crafted and appealing new flavours.
The farm was bought by Chick Legh in 2004, and as an avid polo player Chick decided to convert it into a polo estate. Subsequently it was one of the first estates to start planting vineyards after Bramon, and slowly but surely the infrastructure has taken shape.
Lloyd Kasimbi is the wonderfully enthusiastic farm manager whose hard work and knowledge has been pivotal in the development of the estate. His passion for it is clearly evident when he presents the wine in the freshly uncorked tasting room.
