WINE & DINE
The charming tasting room and restaurant at Kay & Monty offers a relaxed location for a long, unhurried lunch served family-style in a converted orchid greenhouse with views of the dam and the blue Tsitsikamma Mountains beyond. Our menu is designed to pair perfectly with our range of five, easy-drinking wines, all made by hand here on the farm.
THE GREAT OUTDOORS
Tucked away in the rolling hills of The Crags, Country House is surrounded by the natural beauty of the Garden Route and an abundance of options for outdoor adventures. The valley is criss-crossed by beautiful nature trails for hiking, mountain biking and running, while the beaches of Plettenberg Bay and Nature’s Valley are less than 30 minutes’ drive away. The property is also conveniently located for horse riding, polo, golf, adrenaline sports, wildlife encounters and more.
A QUESTION OF TASTE
Stretching from Harkerville to The Crags, the Plett Wine Route is considered one of the most significant up-and-coming wine regions in the country. Kay & Monty Vineyards was only the second farm in the area to plant vines and today has roughly eight hectares under vine. The area is now a thriving winemaking hub with a number of excellent boutique vineyards that offer tastings and snacks dotted along this part of the Garden Route.
